Top Rated Dramas on Green Entertainment in 2026

Green Entertainment launched in July 2023, which makes it the youngest of Pakistan's four big drama networks. In three years it has already produced one of the most watched serials in the country and the most expensive one ever made. Here is the slate, and why it matters.

A reminder on numbers: ratings are reported through weekly charts, and reporting bodies use different panels and scales. Figures below are shown as reported.

Iqtidar (2024 to 2025)

The breakout. Anmol Baloch and Ali Raza lead a story about a young woman taking on a powerful family after her brother's death, written by Hina Huma Nafees and directed by Fahim Burney. It ran 62 episodes and wrapped in April 2025, and The Siasat Daily described it as one of the most watched dramas in the country in 2024. Dawn noted the show was making its ratings on the strength of the leads' chemistry.

Duniyapur (2024 to 2025)

The gamble. A 24-episode family-feud epic, reported as the most expensive drama in Pakistani television history, with Nauman Ijaz, Khushhal Khan, Ramsha Khan, Sami Khan and Manzar Sehbai. Radain Shah wrote it, Shahid Shafaat directed it, and Dawn's reviewer praised its pace, cast and action photography. It wrapped in March 2025.

The library

Green's originals also include Kabuli Pulao, Jindo, Nauroz, Siyaah, 101 Talaqain and Working Women, a slate that shows the channel has been willing to try genres the older networks rarely touch.

What it means for 2026

The two big shows above finished their runs in early 2025, which leaves Green in a building year rather than a winning one. But it has proved the point it set out to prove: a new channel can still change what Pakistani television looks like.
